Ladakh - Land of Passes :

Khardung La :
A gateway to Nubra and Shyok valleys and beautiful motorable pass, ‘Khardung La’ is blessed on the Ladakh series and around 40 km from Leh. Situated at a height of 18,379 ft, it is also known as a great tourist place. The site provides you a superb view and gorgeous views of valleys.
Khardung La is a main pass falls on the way from Leh to Kashgar. In earlier days, people used to use this route for trade and through camels and horses they supplied goods and valuables. Now a day it keeps high importance to army of India. The closest part to this pass is Leh which is connected to Srinagar and Manali.

Chang La Pass :
Ladakh is popular for its zigzag moutain roads as some of the high altitude motorcycle road are situated in the Ladakh area. Chang La Pass a wonderful pass is positioned at a height of 5,360 m above sea level. The pass is known for its beautiful landscapes which allures travellers across the globe. It is considered as the main doorway for the Changthang plateau nestled in the Himalayas.
These highly situated passes are one of the attraction why road trip in Ladakh is preffered.
